TWIN II

Twin II is a small fishing-vessel which once during a storm took a list and went down with the entire crew - opposite the boathire at Helsingør harbour.

OUP’s – that is not entirely true. Actually Twin II probably sank at the harbour in Copenhagen. It was lifted and transported to Helsingør where it, sheltered by the night, was sunk again. You can only guess who is behind this.

Anyway it has become a popular place for diving and it is as a matter of fact quite interesting around the wreck.

This photo has not been altered in any way – just scanned.

The photos are an experiment with black and white under-water photography. As you do not usually get the effect of colours when you take photos of large things, you might as well use black and white. I have used a 3200 asa film and no flashlight. The lens is a 14-millimetre fish-eye with which you can get a full-length diver in the picture at ½ meter distance. June 1996.

The photos has been tinted slightly green as to make them look a bit like colour-photos.
